TRANSFORMER IN CASING
DESIGN AND APPLICATION:
Safety transformers B-100 and B-160 are made as single-phase transformers used to supply electric power to devices that must be safely power-supplied. Two versions are manufactured, both wound on the EI-type cores, with coils separated with a separator.
They are used to supply power to electrical devices operated in places of a high risk of electrical shock, as well as when required by some regulations. The transformers are used to supply fixed light sources and control systems, lighting systems, stationary and portable electric devices operated in places of a high risk of electrical shock, such as: garage inspection pits, gas boiler rooms, wet or high humidity rooms.
The transformers have insulation class “B” and protection degree IP 22, class II.
They operate at 50-60Hz.
By default, the transformers are equipped with the plug/socket connector to allow connection of a device.
The transformers meet the requirements of: PN-EN 61558-2-6:2000
