Accessories for linear motors

For the linear motors, we offer accessories that facilitate assembly in various positions, stiffen the linear movement mechanism, cool or compensate for the force of gravity in applications with vertical assembly.

• motor mount with linear guides

To increase the stiffness of the motor, especially in versions with long shaft stroke or in applications where the motor shaft is subjected to forces transverse to the direction of movement, an intermediate mount with linear guides can be used. The forcer of the motor is attached to the body of the mount and the latter to the body of the machine. The shafts of the linear guides are rigidly coupled to the shaft of the motor and move with it. The guide mount is attached to the motor forcer and additionally helps to dissipate the heat generated from it. As a result, the motor's power and dynamics as well as its maximum continuous force can be increased. The version of the guide mount is selected according to the motor version, and the length of the linear guides to the length of the motor's shaft.

• magnetic spring with holder

Magnetic spring is a passive component used to compensate for the force of gravity when the working axe is vertically oriented. It generates constant force throughout the working range, regardless of position, speed or mounting direction.  If the spring force is greater than the weight carried, the spring serves to stop the falling mass in the event of a power failure. More about magnetic springs can be found here...

• cooling fan

If the motor's duty cycle requires an increase in cooling efficiency, a fan can be attached to the guide mount to significantly improve heat dissipation. The fan supply voltage is selected according to the customer's needs, standard is 24VDC.
