Plug ASWr

DESIGN AND APPLICATION:

The ASWr plug is an exchangeable part of the dismountable plug assembly wired with ASWPr cable, included in the ZW-1 HV train heating coupler assembly. The main advantage of the plug is its dismountability.

Unlike the ASWa plug used in the ASWP system where the sealing function is provided by the cable filling compound (no possibility to dismount the unit), here the sealing is provided by a rubber profile gasket. This allows the ASWPr assembly to be dismounted to replace e.g. a damaged insulating sleeve. It is also possible to replace the HV cable, however it is necessary to solder the main wire and the grounding then.

ASWr PLUG COVER VERSIONS:

- with a seal and conductive finger for HV cable of 3kV, cross-section 1x185 mm²,

- with a seal and conductive finger for HV cable of 3kV, cross-section 1x95 mmmm².
